Self Assessment Vs. FeedbackThis video highlights particular aspects of a teacher working with a kindergarten class. The teacher gave feedback to each student to assist them with a writing exercise. The teacher assisted them with verifying their sentences made sense, the pictures matched the words and monitored students to make sure they are on task. The teacher never employed her own ideas of what she believes should be included. She asks the students open ended questions to prompt their thinking about their work and the quality of it.
